Ik heb net de Flash Linker Set binnen gekregen, besteld bij ProGames en natuurlijk meteen aan de slag. Krijg alleen steeds de melding ‘No Adaptor Found’…!!! Dat ding moet toch in de printerpoort geplugd worden? Er zat een cd rom bij, met daarop een programmatje waarmee je de spelletjes kan aanklikken die je wilt installeren. Is dat alles wat je moet doen? Mist er niet iets van een driver of zo?
Als iemand me verder kan helpen, graag.
Ik heb zo'n geval. Bij mij ligt dat soort probleem meestal bij de batterijen van het apparaatje, met splinternieuwe batterijen werkt ie het best. (bij mij kunnen er batterijen in ik weet niet wat voor een jij hebt) Ik heb er nu een transformator voor en heb ik die problemen niet meer. De contactpunten van de cartridge en adaptor goed afblazen wil ook nog wel eens helpen. Scoor de nieuwste software bv bij: http://advanced.subport.org/index.php

This text is about how to get Gameboy Backup Devices to work
using the LPT-Port.
There are several different reasons that result in your device failing
to work.
1. I recommend to use power supplies only and not batteries.
Be careful and use the correct one, as it can damage your device.
Most often a 500mA/9V power supply is used. I own powersupplies where
you can choose between differen Voltage. So try to get one
and try with low values and go up until it works.
2. I know you all want to play a game first. But don't try flashing
a rom first. Try to copy a cartridge to your PC first -
for example the cartridge you get with the device. Most often there
is something on it already. Dumping (copying a cart to your PC) is
easier. It requires less power, so you may determine if its your
battery or power supply that isnt working properly. If this works,
then you know that your PC and the device can communicate with each
other.
3. The LPT-cable is often a problem as well. Try different ones.
Short ones recommended (2 meters).
4. The LPT-Port. Try changing the LPT-Port settings.
You can find this option by checking the BIOS of your mainboard.
Most often you can choose between SPP/Normal,EPP,ECP or whatever.
5. Software. Use the tools i marked with the ugly pink (or whatever it is)
in the Tools-Section. These ones are recommended. If it works with these,
then you can try the others and check if you'd rather use those.
6. For Windows NT/2000 you have to install a special driver for your LPT-Port.
Get it out of the tools-section. As far as i know the whole thing doesn't work with
Windows XP.
7. Your device is damaged and doesn't work at all. @!#$ then.
It's very hard to exchange the devices.
